Kartal Municipality ‘ Youth Council Regulation' (Gençlik Meclisi Yönetmeliği) was recognized by the Municipal Council and entered into force on 10 th of November 2007. The ‘Youth Council' held its first formal meeting on 16 th of June 2007 and the commission was constituted.
Youth Council is composed 37 members and number of the commission is 13. The Commission is organizing its meetings once in three months.

There is cooperation between Kartal Municipality and the Youth Assembly. The administrative units of Kartal Municipality give support to all activities and the work of Youth Council.
